Description
Fruit for this wine was picked from the Tamar Valley wine region of Tasmania in late April 2025 in full ripeness. Fruit was destemmed, crushed and pressed immediately upon being received at the winery. Fermented with cultured yeasts to dryness, the cap was pumped over to maximize extraction and build texture and mouthfeel. The wine was matured with Oak for 5 months before being filtered and bottled.
Notes
Pristine and delightfully expressed with elegant complexity, showing Black Doris plum, blueberry, violet, fennel, and nutmeg aromas on the nose, followed by a succulent palate that's beautifully rounded and supple. It's splendidly structured by refined texture and layers of polished tannins, finishing lingering and satisfying. At its best: now to 2033. (Sam Kim, WineOrbit)
